(1) Vendor needs to provide laboratory instruments preventative and corrective maintenance service to the government authority located in Boston, MA.– Review the maintenance logbook.– Save instrument control settings.– Perform a pre–PM performance test and document the results.– Check for any required software updates.– If any software updates are available, recommend whether or not they should be installed.– Check for proper installation of parts and assemblies, including any safety items.– Check and clean as needed all PC boards.– Position, align, calibrate, adjust, verify, and certify instrument components as necessary.  – Provide secure documentation that includes the identification of the equipment or item, including manufacturer, model, and serial number, laboratory location, the tolerance specifications, the measurements taken, whether the equipment or item is within tolerance, any applicable correction factor the date each check was performed and the signature of the analyst who performed each check.(2) The contract period will be for three years.
