Government Authority located in Winston Salem, North Carolina; USA based organization looking for advanced practice clinic services. – USA (Winston Salem, North Carolina) – Advanced Practice Clinic Services – Deadline May 24,2023

(1) Vendor needs to provide advanced practice clinic services to the government authority located in Winston Salem, NC.
– The advanced practitioner clinic (APC) provider will provide full-time staffing for the onsite clinic at 40 hours weekly operating concurrently with the existing registered nurse (RN) clinic. under the general direction of a medical director licensed to practice medicine in the state, advanced practitioners, nurses and medical office support staff will provide a variety of non-emergency medical care to city employees and candidates for employment.
– The APC provider will be required to provide medical oversight and serve as the medical authority in charge of both the APC’s staff and city hired medical staff. this supervision includes quarterly onsite compliance visits ensuring lab competency, safety assessments, pharmacy compliance as well as any other compliance issues that arise.
– The APC provider will provide assessment and treatment of acute minor illnesses, consultations about disease processes (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, obesity) and disease management, minor emergency treatment of non-work-related injuries (e.g., suture removal, eye stains, first aid); performing diagnostic tests (covid, strep, flu, u/a dipstick) and other CLIA-waived lab tests, writing prescriptions and evaluating response to medications prescribed. the APC provider will communicate with the employee’s primary care provider, when necessary, to ensure continuity of care. the APC provider will also assist in providing primary care and specialty referrals as needed.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than May 23, 2023.
(3) The contract period will be for three years.
