(1) Vendor needs to provide connecting food system stakeholders’ services to the government authority located in Seattle, WA.
– Provide networking and capacity building opportunities for producers and organizations engaged in emergency food and meal distribution in agency.
– Food insecurity occurs when individuals or households lack reliable access to a sufficient quantity and quality of affordable, nutritious food.
– Bring together newly forming groups, networks, or coalitions not already connected to traditionally funded food bank and meal coalitions to ensure their needs are met by a unified food and nutrition security network in agency.
– Phase 1:
– Activity 1: Gather group input and complete initial network self-assessment and workplan based on group input.
– Activity 2: Attend a virtual meeting with agency to discuss self-assessment and workplan
– Activity 3: Hold one group meeting to support capacity building and member engagement
– Phase 2:
– Activity 4: Members attend an agency hosted networking event.
– Activity 5: Hold one group meeting to support capacity building and member engagement.
– Activity 6: Gather group input and complete end of contract network self-assessment based on group input.
– Activity 7: Attend a virtual meeting with agency to discuss final self-assessment.
(2) A pre-application conference will be held on February 21, 2023.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than February 22, 2023.
(4) The contract period will be for one year.
