DDG Ellard discusses WTO success, need for reform, relevance to addressing climate crisis

Deputy Director-General Angela Ellard participated on 13 February in an “armchair discussion” with Ambassador Rufus Yerxa, former WTO Deputy Director-General, at the 2023 Washington International Trade Conference, where she discussed outcomes of last June’s 12th Ministerial Conference (MC12), prospects for WTO reform, and developing countries’ priorities at the WTO.
